Art Portfolio Prep Workshop
Painting Class or workshop for high school students. Learn all tips and techniques to make successful application. I have students who made it into OCAD, Univ of Guelph, Brock, Sheridan and York University. Register early to ensure a 100% success rate. A perfect gift for a youth who wants to apply to an Art Program. Give it the final push, attend over the Holidays and into February or until final application deadline of applications. Each class is for 5 hours.
Focus Area:
Drawing from Observation: Still life, figure drawing, landscapes, perspective
Painting Techniques: Acrylics, watercolor, oil
Art Elements & Principles: Line, form, color theory, composition
Creative Exercises: Prompts to spark conceptual thinking and originality
Learning Outcome:
A polished art portfolio of 4 - 6 pieces over 4 sessions.
A strong artist statement.
Skills in self-directed art making and visual storytelling.
Exposure to critique culture and college-level expectations.

Come and learn at my Studio on Sundays in West Hamilton. Cost stated for this product is for 1 class/ workshop only. Ideally you will need to come for a total of 20 hours (4 sessions) so that you can have a polished art portfolio of 4 - 6 pieces over 4 sessions.
